My son’s beloved dog Lu Lu. She has never had puppies. She has been our first family dog and companion. Lu Lu is not a pedigree dog. I waited for her to look like the photos of cavaliers I had admired on the internet. The beauty of pedigree dogs is that you get what you expect. This is due to the standard as set out by the ANKC. Lu Lu did start something special

It all started with a Pearl. My first cavalier was a 7.5yo girl who came along with fleas and a number of problems. I only ever wanted to give an old dog another outlook on life. I renamed her Pearl because after following my vets guidance, good nutrition and basic animal husbandry and love, that is what she developed into, a Pearl. Sadly Pearl was gently put to sleep by our vet at the age of 12.5, in my home, on my bed, due to lymphoma in 2020. She was the beginning. RIP my darling

In December 2016 I titled my first dog as an Australian neauter champion. Beautiful Brandy. Brandy is no longer with me but she remains in my heart.

In 2017 Morganlea Arwen In Thistledown came along. On the 15th of July 2017 Arwen took out Baby Puppy In Show at the Queensland Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Championship Speciality under judge Lyndy Morris. This fuelled me to obtain her title within 18 month and ignited my dream and passion for the breed.
|
Shortly after along came Miss Bonnie, Pabianpark Pennies From Heaven
|
Two special girls Arwen and Bonnie. Arwen was my first entire dam to title. Her line ended with her here but she lives a happy life with friends. Bonnie produced some lovely puppies for me and is now desexed living a comfortable life in my bed. I had to part with one but Bonnie stays on as the matriarch

Elfking Some Like It Hot At Edenridge (Wesley) came along in early 2019. A gift from Edenridge Cavaliers. Wesley is a true showman and an exceptional cavalier. He follows me around our property off leash and will not stray. Unless he spots our cat Miss Floss.

We are a very social crew and go out visiting places, family and friends. We are not just show dogs. Walter, Lily, Elvis, Wanda and Pearl visiting their other cavalier friends. We bring the dog park to you! The dogs are my pets and they play a big part of my social life.

Kamontry Sunlit Plains Forever AKA Digby living with Maree and Steve on their farm in Western Australia. Digby has proven to be a very versatile dog. Credit to Maree and Steve for sure!
|
Digby is a versatile dog. He is also socialised to chickens and many other farm animals. He arrived in WA at 12 weeks old and his owners Maree and Steve have done an amazing job with him.

Following November 2021 I introduced a ruby and a black and tan to the family. So happy with my darling Grace and Teddy.

When your wife suggests another cavalier. One is never enough. Cavaliers come in four colours, blenheim, tri colour, ruby and black and tan

Winning is hard work. Only Elvis can manage to get himself like this in a few minutes. He ran the exact same ring in the line up for dog challenge and indeed he was the dirtiest. To my dismay

On the 16/7/23 we had to make the very difficult decision to put our first family dog Lu Lu to sleep at age 15. Dogs are a reminder of years gone by and the people who have come, gone and grown old with us. Always in our hearts, never forgotten and greatly missed

That’s a funny looking cavalier! Welcoming Mimi to Kamontry. Meinrad Snugglepot Weiner
|
Welcoming 6yo Lady who has come to be the guardian of our home. Lady runs with all my dogs and serves to protect the most precious things that are inside. Thank you to her former owner Debbie Rodgers. I have wanted a guardian dog for a long time. The socialisation and training of large dogs is incredibly important. I trust lady with all of our lives.

Our darling Wesley, living his best pet life with friends down the coast. Still healthy, happy and living like a king
